Singapore / MyNewsDesk / Novus Scientific Pte. Ltd today announced that TIGR® Matrix Surgical Mesh, the World’s 1st Long-Term Resorbable Synthetic Mesh will be launched at APHS 2011 (www.aphs2011.org/) in Hua Hin, Thailand, from November 9th – 11th, 2011.
This event has been postponed to Jan 11-13, 2012, due to the floods in Thailand.
To mark this occasion, Professor Stellan Björk, Principal Investigator and Consultant Surgeon at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden, will lecture on “Results of the first-in-man trial of a new synthetic long-term resorbable surgical mesh” in the main scientific session. TIGR® Matrix is the World’s 1st Long-Term Resorbable Synthetic Mesh. US FDA cleared TIGR® Matrix Surgical Mesh for use in reinforcement of soft tissues where weakness exists in January 2010. It received CE Mark approval in August 2011.
TIGR® Matrix Surgical Mesh is available for sale in the U.S. and selected European countries.
